There's a storm...

"There's a storm across the valley, clouds are rollin' in..."

I find myself humming this John Denver song a lot these days. Perhaps the following picture, taken from the living room of the house I live in, will give you an idea why...

It is nice to have a few minutes warning before a storm hits (to take laundry down or shut windows), but it is also annoying to have the song stuck in my head all the time. :-)

Sara,

Should I bring our raincoats or can you have the storms settled down by mid-May? It looks nice and lush and maybe muddy? WE will just have to take what the Lord gives us!

Love, Dad

HI, Sara,
The view from your window is beautiful! Though we have been blessed with some beautiful sunny days, it is still April and has been cooling down considerably at night. We have some radishes and spinach peeping up out of the dirt. Had our first dandelion blossoms and a couple of johnnie-jump-ups. Praying for you and your friend--sometimes it is a struggle to know how much to give without making others dependent. God gave you a loving, serving heart for others and finding the boundaries can be challenging.
About the song..does "the truck out on the four-lane a mile or more away" also run through? LOL:)
Pastor preached on prayer on Sunday from the book of Luke and Pastor Barbee did David and Goliath in the PM with an illustration about the time in his training at Fort Benning when he came up against a tank. We are so blessed with our men of the Word!
Have a great day and thanks again for sharing,
Karen H
