In Australia

Today has been a miracle... by God's provision, Krista and I arrived in Cairns, Australia tonight.

Twenty four hours ago I first heard of someone who was driving to the city of Lae. At 7 am today, Krista and I left Ukarumpa with them, with no airline tickets and no concrete plans. At 10, we were at the Lae airport and through a series of sometimes frustrating, confusing, and great events, we were on a plane bound for the capital, Port Moresby, at 2:30.

When we arrived in Moresby, the ground crew were excellent. They took Krista around in a wheelchair, got our luggage directly out of the plane and carried it to the counter for us, and helped us buy tickets. They helped us go quickly through customs and onto the plane. From the time we touched down in Moresby to the time we were airborne again in 45 minutes - an amazing feat at any airport, especially Port Moresby on a Sunday evening, arriving with no tickets!

We landed in Cairns, Australia around 6:30 pm, and made it really quickly through customs and immigration and getting our bags. There were no lines because the only people in the airport (besides the helpful staff) were the other four people from our flight. We took a cab to the place where we're staying and we're going to work on getting a doctor's appointment for Krista in the morning.

God answered your prayer in a mighty way today - us being in Australia right now is evidence of that. Please keep praying for us!
