The Kodiak has arrived!
Some of you may remember the following blurb from the back page of my April newsletter:
After years of planning and preparation, the Kodiak has finally arrived! Many people from Ukarumpa went out to the airstrip to await and celebrate the arrival of the plane.

How exciting to see the Kodiak in Ukarumpa. We missed seeing it when it was downstate at a couple of urban airports. We went to the JAARS site and watched the pilot's video and the aerial photos they took on the way to PNG. We had wondered how it would get there and now we can see what an interesting flight it was. They even included a sunset on their way in to Hawaii. It is so exciting to know what a great new tool you all have in this. They even designed the seats for it at JAARS! How awesome the ways God works to bring translation to the remotest areas! It was a whole different perspective to view the Pacific from above, not by ship, as Rich did. Thanks for sharing the good news with us! Bet Andrew in Ukarumpa is delighted to see a brand new vehicle!
